The River Watcher Story
What is written below the line was written shortly after I attended my first RiverWatch HOA meeting and is unchanged ('scuse typo's, LOL!!! & YAY!!! 's). It was the annual meeting Feb. 2007. The main purpose - elect a board of directors.
I ended up on the board. Very funny story ~ I'll tell it at a community BBQ one day ... any way ...
This page was written before knowing anything about this story (too many facts which are public record to listen to he said, she said ker-wrap ... 'specially since this is way before MY time :-) and I'm much too personally involved NOW to be the least bit objective ... does that make me objective?
Any way - back to MY story. Being who I am, where I am, when I am ... I am where I am, when I am supposed to be ... so ... April 05, 2009 here we are :-)
I added this blurb (06/09/09) so others have the ability to be aware of the ripples sent out by the person I thank for bringing the river watcher words to my attention, the one who propelled me to my first meeting after living quietly in our home in RiverWatch for almost a year and a half, the one choosing to end others lives if he doesn't get his way ... is he a bully or a terrorist? OR ... Are bullies terrorists?
When will this end?

With Gratitude and Joy, every day from my home I am one of "The River Watchers" I couldn't believe my great luck, when LO and behold the name TheRiverWatcher.com was available.
So, how did I come by this most excellent of domain names?
Being a domainer from over a decade ago, I like to think TheRiverWatcher.com coming into my possession is part of the "What one sows, so shall he or she reap" equation.
Cryptic ... yes, on the surface ... but, get a cup of coffee, soda, or glass of ice tea or water and listen to the tale of ...

You see the person who brought the name possibility to me was doing some really not nice things. This person was using The River Watcher as the name for a Black Propaganda newsletter. I didn't know this at the time, but I knew (sensed) my community was in trouble.
Our annual housing association meeting was coming in less than 10 days (this was Feb 2007), no big deal. We hadn't been to a meeting before, hadn't planned on going to this one. But then one morning a rolled up sheet of paper was discovered in our driveway. It was a "newsletter" called "The Riverwatcher" ... it told of dastardly deeds and dire circumstances for the neighborhood. It told of a seething underground in the community ... oh my ... I'm in a reality TV show ...

LOL!!! But, now in all fairness, I must say it was all done with the utmost intent of doing right (reaping and sowing ... you can't eat watermelon, if you planted carrots - unless you share your carrots with a watermelon grower ;-) And this newsletter was like yeaowza, wowza, me-oh-my ... but those who did not know what was really going on, thought chicken little was a prophet.
It is my intent with this website to bring to you (us) REAL and TRUE information about our rivers. Not slanted one way or another, but so we may make intelligent decisions about the protection and best usages for our rivers.
With that I am seeking partnership with talent that can help make this site a true resource to protect our rivers.
